About Jonathan....
Jonathan grew up on the east coast in NY State. After graduating from Boston University in 1999 he moved to Italy to further his understanding of the culinary arts. Jonathan then moved to Woodstock NY to focus on yoga studies followed by a move to Colorado in 2007 to continue studying Acupuncture and yoga. Jonathan completed the 4-year Masters Program in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, CO in April 2010. He is currently training to be certified in Zero Balancing. Jonathan has also taught yoga in NY and CO in addition to home cooking classes, offering techniques to increase speed and enjoyment when creating meals.
Jonathan has learned that community is important to him, for support, inspiration, and learning from different perspectives. His passions direct him to live a more sustainable lifestyle so future generations can thrive. Jonathan focuses his time exploring nature and culinary arts, practicing yoga, building his acupuncture practice, and deepening his relationship with nature. He strives to help and support his community with the healing modalities of acupuncture, yoga, and culinary arts.
Jonathan supports your path towards health by listening carefully to your concerns and goals. Recognition is given to our body’s innate ability to heal, and by partnering with you; a greater sense of health is more attainable. Acupuncture treats the whole being (body, mind, and spirit) by addressing the root cause of symptoms. Together, we will focus on preventing the outbreak of illness, unravel the patterns of imbalance and assist you in managing areas of distress.
In addition to acupuncture treatments, Jonathan recommends lifestyle changes, in the hope that you gain a better understanding of your health potential, increase your innate wisdom to heal, and strengthen your vital energy, Over time, clients are encouraged to find their own sustainable life pattern to assist them in finding balance .

and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). - Masters of Acupuncture (M.Ac.), The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA)
in Louisville, Colorado. - Yoga Practitioner, 200 hour level, Shakti yoga Studios, Woodstock, NY
- Certificate in Culinary Education, The Institute for Culinary Education.
- Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Boston University.
